Similarly, for the Stream 3 posts, candidates must have completed probation in any Cadre.But for Stream 2 posts, candidates must be an active probationer in any government departments.No specific experience is required for Stream 1 posts for the KPSC Eligibility.The candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree or Masters Degree from any recognized University under the Government of India.The candidates applying for the KPSC examination must clear particular education criteria.There is no specified Attempts limit for candidates who fall in SC/ ST categories.Candidates who fall in the G eneral categorycan attempt the exams for a maximum of 5 times, whereas candidates from OBC category are eligible for 7 Attemptsoverall.A specific number of Attempts are decided by the commission for candidates in different categories.The KPSC Eligibility Criteria for the number of attempts have been specified by the higher authority at the Karnataka Administrative Services.
